As the COVID-19 pandemic struck the world, Community Food Share quickly anticipated that demand from the community would rise, so we reached out to local government for support. The Township of North Dundas was quick to respond, offering to match donations up to $7,000. In just one week, our generous community surpassed the goal, helping us raise $20,000 in total, including the Township’s contribution.
