Community Food Share Finds a New Finch Satellite Location
Community Food Share (CFS) is pleased to announce the opening of a new satellite location in Finch, North Stormont, at 4 John Street. This new location, situated at the front of the arena on the west side opposite the library, was made possible through a collaboration between CFS and the North Stormont Municipal Council. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to CAO Craig Calder for his assistance in securing this space, which will support residents facing food insecurity.
The Finch location is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, ensuring that all food provided to clients meets the highest standards of quality and freshness. This location will be staffed on Thursday afternoons from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for food order pick-up.
Residents of North Stormont who are facing food insecurity are always welcome to visit our Winchester CFS Food Bank to participate in the shopping model. For those unable to travel to Winchester, arrangements can be made to have orders brought to the Finch satellite location by making an appointment before 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
