Community Food Share
Community Food Share operates two Food Bank locations open 3 times a week and a Satellite location.
We receive an incredible amount of support from local businesses and community organizations at this time of year. Here are just a few of the many donations received. We couldn't do what we do without this support from our amazing community. Thank you all!
Would you like to make a charitable donation but don't have the cash this year? You can still help us win $50 000 for a non-profit organization in North Dundas! Follow the link to Canada's Kindest Community Contest at www.coca-cola.com/ca/en/brands/coca-cola/coke-holiday/kindest-community and write a short note about an act of kindness you've witnessed. No act is too small! Here’s a list of ideas—have you seen or experienced any of these?Kindness Among Neighbors and Friends • Someone shoveling a driveway or walkway after a snowfall. • A neighbor delivering soup, baked goods, or a meal when it was needed most. • Someone offering to run errands or pick up groceries for an elderly or busy neighbor. • Receiving a handwritten card or note that made your day.Acts of Kindness While Shopping • A stranger paying for someone’s coffee or groceries. • A kind word or smile from a cashier or fellow shopper. • Someone sharing extra produce from their garden with neighbors or the food bank.
